FAQ’s

How do I care for my Snetty threads?

Be careful with them and with the environment! Only wash at 30°, inside out and if you can avoid it, don’t use fabric softener. If you have a Snetty garment with a vinyl print, softener will weaken it significantly.

Also, iron on the lowest setting, inside out. Don’t ever iron the vinyl print, your iron won’t thank you for it and neither will your threads!

What is the circle mark on my embroidered item?

When you get your embroidered garment, you might see a circle mark around the embroidery. Don’t panic! This is where the embroidery hoop is clamped in place during the embroidery process, to keep the stitches nice and tight. It washes out on the first wash, I promise!

Why is turn around 2-3 weeks? Can I get an item quicker than that?

I work with a dedicated team of suppliers and embroidery magicians! Sadly since the pandemic, we are all experiencing delays with items being shipped from within the UK and overseas and this means that given each item is made to order, the turnaround is a little bit longer than I would ordinarily like.

I don’t do ‘rush orders’ but if you have a specific deadline, always drop me a message and I will see what I can do!

Do you accept custom orders?

Absolutely! I love a custom order and if there is something I can help create for you, which is not already available on my website, then please get in touch and we can work on something completely bespoke for you.

Where do you source your clothing from?

I work with suppliers who are literally 15 minutes from my front door! Together, we work with local UK clothing companies but we also use brands who are based in the USA.

What you can be assured of, is that together we make sure Snetty clothing is ethically sourced, using only factories that are ‘worldwide responsible accredited production’ certified or members of the ‘business social compliance initiativ. You can therefore be confident that your Snetty threads demonstrate a commitment to ensuring safe and fair working practices

What are your clothes made from?

I like to use an 80% ringspun cotton and 20% polyester mix. This way, the garments have a brushed effect for superior comfort and look and I’d like to think that all Snetty garments can be considered the perfect addition to your wardrobe.

What shipping service do you use?

Everything I send is Royal Mail first class. I have a great relationship with my local post office and they are like my post fairies! They lovingly take care of each and everyone of my orders, making sure your garments are delivered as quickly as possible but most importantly, as safely as possible.
